These cobalamins are structurally related to Hemoglobin in the blood and thus, deficiency of vitamin B12leads to anemia. Two forms of vitamin B12 dependent enzymes within the body are Adenosylcobalamin and Methylcobalamin. Both are the metabolically active forms required for B 12 dependent enzyme function
